Visa Information
Hanban North America will provide complimentary visa processing for delegates (i.e. will cover the visa fee of $182). Unless requesting expedited service, your passport will be returned to the address you provided via a standard delivery courier service. The deadline for receiving the visa application documents will be

All delegates must have a passport with at least six months validity beyond the date of departure, i.e. expiring May.10, 2017 or later. If you do not have a passport yet, you will need to apply for it, in order to meet the visa deadlines below.

Delegates are required to have medical coverage during the program in China. Please check your medical insurance and purchase travel medical insurance if necessary. Various insurance providers may be found on the internet; you may purchase travel insurance through Travel Guard.

If you are paying by purchase order, please follow the steps below.
1. If your school / institution requires a vendor number, you will need to obtain and send your Vendor Registration Form (e.g. W-9, W-8BEN, W-8EXP, W-8ECI or any other required by your school district to Hanban. Send the form by FAX to: 1-604-879-2189,1-778-371-4116 or by Email to

2. We will fill out the form, and send it back to you.
Please specify a return fax number in the information you send to Hanban.
3. Apply for the signed purchase order at your institution. The purchase order should be payable to Hanban North America Education Inc.
